馬斯克（Elon Musk）在社交媒體上透露，SpaceX已完成400億美元債務融資，用於購買輝達（Nvidia）圖像處理器（GPU）晶片。馬斯克同時警告，依賴債務融資的新型雲端服務商（neoclouds），將面臨倒閉潮及行業整合。
馬斯克表示，SpaceX憑藉信貸評級為「投資級別」，以及在人工智能（AI）數據中心以外，擁有星鏈衛星服務和火箭業務的收入，藉此取得這筆債務融資。
馬斯克強調，過去數周，債市幾乎停止向單純依賴AI數據中心為收入的企業提供資金，並預期逾200家新型雲端服務商將經歷大規模倒閉與整合，直言「部分（服務商）能夠捱過去，但不會有很多」（Some will make it through, but not many.）。他其後提及，SpaceX不會收購新型雲端服務商，形容此舉為「毫無意義」（Pointless）。
不過彭博引述知情人士報道，有關交易的定價在周日（25日）時仍在進行商討，交易尚未完成。另外彭博早前報道，到近期新型雲端服務商的動盪波及，這筆400億美元晶片融資的最終定價磋商陷入僵局。報道指，高盛牽頭的銀行團正與阿波羅牽頭的投資者商討安排，阿波羅支持的Atlas SP擬管理相關融資實體，太平洋投資管理亦曾考慮參與。
Pretty much. As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers. SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue. That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.
