馬斯克（Elon musk）創立的隧道建設公司The Boring Company在社交媒體上表示，在新一輪融資中籌集30億美元（約235億港元），目前公司估值達230億美元（約1,800億港元）。
The Boring Company指，融資所得款項將用於在阿聯酋境內建造地下交通基建，包括總長超過150公里的隧道。公司還計劃融資所得款項來增加工程、生產和營運方面的招聘，同時擴大在拉斯維加斯、納士維（Nashville），以及杜拜的工程。
The Boring Company今輪融資由阿聯酋及相關投資機構領投；而其他參與投資者還包括Human Capital、Vy Capital、Valor Equity Partners、紅杉資本（Sequoia Capital）、安德里森霍羅威茨（A16Z, Andreessen Horowitz）、淡馬錫（Temasek）、Shamal Holding和Baron Capital等。
馬斯克在2017年創立了The Boring Company，起因是抱怨洛杉磯交通擁堵，隨後提出了建造地下交通網絡的計劃。
